Went to Sedona for a quick visit then onto Cottonwood to get a motorcycle chain for Alex's bike. He needed a new chain pretty bad. Waited around for it to get fixed then headed West towards California.
Traversed the Mojave Desert at a pretty good speed in the afternoon and into the evening. My bike worried me because the red oil light came on. Checked the oil and it was very low. So we got to the next exit and topped it up. Also ended up helping some guy try to fix his car!
Went for a caffeine break then got onto CA 151? to go west into the night. However at this point the wind was really bad, throwing our bikes all over the place. Not good on an unlit road with lorries coming the other way.
So we got a hotel room, wheeled the bikes in and got some sleep.
