Woke up in the woods and proceeded North to Eureka along 101 again. Got to Eureka and had some breakfast / lunch. We talked about options and decided to go to Crater Lake, which is slightly inland.
So we rode along 101, stopping to see the wonderful California coast then headed inland towards Crater Lake. We did not make Crater Lake because we didn't want to ride at dusk (fear of hitting deer). We checked ourselves in to a hotel about 50 miles from our destination.
