I am pretty excited about the trip but also a bit aprehensive about the first 3 days of riding to get out West. The plan for those days is day1 - New Orleans, day2 - Austin, days3 - El Paso. Some hard riding to do.
On a lighter note Alex needed to put a new tire on his Honda before the trip. So he decided to do a 'burn out' on his bike to burn off the rest of the tire. So he tries to do a burn out and the rear tire wont spin. Then the clutch starts slipping. So Alex comes over with the new tire, complaining about his slipping clutch and I tell him the obvious - 'dont do burnouts on bikes with linked brakes!' (ESPECIALLY BEFORE LONG TRIPS). Anyway the clutch cooled down and the bike is fine. We also put the new tire on.

It's Atl > New Orleans > San Antonion > whatever city near Juarez > Sedona > ,,,,and then we shall see. My plan is to camp on a beach in San Francisco before turning back ))
